Education


He completed his Master of Laws (LL.M) from Southeast University in 2017 with a CGPA of 3.37 out of 4. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) in 2016 with a CGPA of 3.42 out of 4. His earlier academic background includes HSC from Rangpur Government College and SSC from Sonaray Bilateral High School, Domar, both with strong academic results. He was enrolled as an Advocate of the Judge Court, Nilphamari on 23 December 2018 and later enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh on 13 August 2022. He is a Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (Member ID: 10960) and a Member of the District Bar Association, Nilphamari. He also serves as an Executive Member of HTP Foundation.

Experience


Advocate Md. Amjad Hosain Mamun has extensive courtroom experience in both civil and criminal matters. As Assistant Public Prosecutor, he regularly represents the state in criminal proceedings before the District and Session Court. He has also worked as a Panel Advocate for Walton and as a Legal and Compliance Lawyer at BRAC, gaining valuable corporate and compliance exposure. Additionally, he has served as Panel Lawyer for the Support for Rural Advancement Society.

His litigation experience includes filing and conducting civil suits such as money compensation claims, title suits, family matters, land disputes, execution cases, and Artha Rin cases. In criminal practice, he handles bail matters, imprisonment-related cases, NI Act (cheque dishonor) cases, and Nari O Shishu cases. He has significant expertise in drafting and vetting corporate and commercial documents including Mortgage Deeds, Power of Attorney, Contracts, MoUs, Legal Opinions, and Legal Notices.

Qualification


He has received specialized training in Estate Law and Civil Practice from HTP Foundation, focusing on documentation, vetting, and land-related suits. He also completed English Excellence training from BRAC to enhance professional communication skills.

His core professional strengths include civil and criminal litigation, corporate documentation, legal drafting, vetting, tax law matters, execution of decrees, family suits, and NI Act cases. His career reflects a balanced combination of prosecution experience, corporate advisory work, and private litigation practice.
